The short version
- The free stuff is free. Strategy videos, guide pages, classroom tools, and every math game stay free.
- The Family plan is $4.99 CAD/month or $39.99 CAD/year. It renews automatically, and you can cancel anytime from Manage Subscription in your settings.
- 30-day refund promise: not for you? Contact us within 30 days of your first charge and we'll refund it in full.
- Accounts are for adults — parents, guardians, and teachers. Children never create accounts, and their information stays on your device.
- Be a good guest: use the site with your family or class, and don't resell, copy, or break things.
What Mr. Aube and Friends is
Mr. Aube and Friends is an educational website made by a New Brunswick teacher. It offers strategy videos, interactive math tools and games, printable practice sheets, and parent guides that help adults practice math with young children, mapped to the New Brunswick curriculum. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
Accounts (adults only)
You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account, and you must be an adult — a parent, guardian, or teacher — to create an account. Children do not create accounts. Kids play through an adult's account, on the adult's device, and the site never asks a child for any information. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in to yourself.
The Family subscription
The paid Family plan unlocks the adult insight layer: all tool levels, downloadable practice sheets, the full set of classroom board widgets, and parent guides. It costs $4.99 CAD per month or $39.99 CAD per year, billed through Stripe.
- It auto-renews. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime via Manage Subscription in your account settings. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for; no further charges after that.
- Price changes: if we ever change the price, we'll tell you ahead of time, and it will only apply from your next renewal.
Refunds
If the Family plan isn't working for your family, contact us within 30 days of your first charge and we'll give you a full refund — no interrogation. Email privacy@zaiphr.ai, or reach us through the Mr. Aube and Friends Facebook page or the YouTube channel. After the first 30 days, cancelling stops future charges but past charges aren't refunded.
Teacher codes
Teachers can share access codes with the families in their class. Teacher codes are free, unlock full access for the family that redeems them, and expire at the end of the school year. They're meant for the students in that teacher's class — please don't sell them, post them publicly, or pass them beyond your class.
Acceptable use
- Use the site for your own family or classroom — that's what it's for, and we love that.
- Don't resell access, share your account broadly, or redistribute paid content (like practice sheets) outside your family or class.
- Don't scrape the site, probe for security holes, overload it, or try to break in. If you find a security problem, please tell us instead.
- Don't misuse access codes or impersonate a teacher.
If an account seriously breaks these rules, we can suspend or close it. If we do, and you're inside a period you paid for, we'll refund the unused portion unless the account was used for abuse or fraud.
Your child's information
The most important promise lives in our privacy policy: your child's data stays on your device. Learner names and play history are stored in your own browser and never sent to us. These terms don't change that promise, and nothing in them gives us any rights over your child's information — we don't have it.
Our content
The videos, tools, games, characters, and practice sheets on this site belong to Mr. Aube and Friends. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them with your family or class — it doesn't make them yours to republish or sell. Teachers may print and use practice sheets with their own students.
What we can't promise (liability)
We work hard to keep the site up, accurate, and useful, but it's provided “as is.” We can't promise it will never be down, never have a bug, or that any child will reach a particular learning outcome — this site supports practice at home and school; it doesn't replace a teacher.
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Some rights — including consumer rights under Canadian law — can't be limited, and nothing here takes those away.
Changes to the service and these terms
Tools and features will grow and occasionally change. If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give active subscribers notice before their next renewal. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute belongs to the courts of New Brunswick.
